Hey, I came here to apologise for the state that I left The Mono-Yellow Madness in. I rushed the game and I haven't thought about user experience and about if the game is enjoyable. I had a few players test the game as it is now and they pointed out what I need to improve.
So, with that said let's talk about 0.03 (The Emergency Update)
First I want to rework some of the levels to make them easier for a normal player or more enjoyable. The level that receive a big update was Level 0. Previously, you would die very quickly, and it was hard to get to the exit because of it. Now it is much easier to survive and the playtesters like it. The level that received the biggest upgrade, was Level 1 with multiple floors and updated models, with new puzzles, to make it fun instead of boring. Level 1 hasn't been reworked yet
Second, I'm adding multiplayer to the newest update, to let the players enjoy the game with friends. It still needs some work, to fix bugs and add matchmaking
Third, I want to talk about how much of the final game will be in the next update. The game will be about 15% complete, with it's first chapter being complete (the game will be split into chapters).
Fouth, I want to introduce @MaddyHatter , they are working on a big level in the game and are helping me with the updates.
TL;DR:
The game is going to receive an update which is going to fix the game's probles with User Experience, and some of the levels will get reworked. The newest update will bring multiplayer and will contain about 15% of the final game. @MaddyHatter joined the team to help with User Experience and are doing a new big level for the game.
So that's all I have to say right now, stay tuned for more updates,
Bye. ~Otrex
