now i beat the game already way before making this post but it was now i decided to actually rant about the game
the story is cool i guess but that's all i'm really saying about the story now a big complaint of mine is the difficulty the game is just way tpo easy there's so many powerful pokemon you can catch early too somewhat mid game and the mega shards allow you to over level your pokemon by grinding em and trading em for small XP candies tons of em and you can just over level your entire team and even if you didn't it'd probably STILL be too fucking easy the teams aren't the best things i've seen and the game didn't really offer any actual challenge when i played it also if you got the gift ralts like i did early game is just way easier of course you don't have to use it but i did and like tons of the battles i had to do were easy because of me over levelling my gardevoir because of type advantage and even the moments when it doesn't you can still catch tons of other pokemon that are extremely good as well also literally everywhere you can find little items that you can sell tons of em and i don't like that in the older games money was harder to get you either had to battle trainers or sell items but it wasn't to the point where you can find tons of items that are meant to be sold literally everywhere so i can just walk around doing absolutely nothing for an hour but collecting items so i can sell em for a shit load of money and buy tons of battle items it anyway when you're trying to get somewhere like a rouge mega sometimes you have no idea where the fuck your going yeah it takes place in one giant ass city which i don't like that a lot but it's whatever anyway sometimes i could be trying to find a rouge mega and it's like on a roof and i'm searching everywhere and it feels like i'm wondering around in the middle of bum fuck nowhere and when it comes to getting to megas that are on roofs getting to the mega is gonna be longer than actually fighting it because you have to go through all sorts of goofy hijinks to get there and like half if not most of the rouge megas are on roofs yeah the roto glide makes things a little easier but not much easier another thing is the transition to day and night man every time it does it pisses me the fuck off it's so annoying it's like simon's quest and like i could be doin something like fighting an alpha pokemon and then i have to restart because of the fuck ass transition and that pisses me off to no end but there positives like i said before the story is kinda cool imo another thing is the guy who gives you lost pokeballs when you miss em and shit i also like a lot of the new megas they're really cool another cool thing is you can do more than just spend mega shards on XP candies but also mega stones you get a new one to buy after a trainer uses one and you'll be able to get it's mega stone and just other added ones as you progress oh yeah i forgot about this one i didn't like so like in X and Y you were able to choose one of the kanto starters before i got to i saw the fat there was no venusaurite in the stone emporium but i had both the charizard mega stones and the blastoise mega stone so i chose charizard however after progressing through the game i got the venusaurite because it was a rouge mega which pissed me the fuck off i wish i knew that before i chose charmander because venusaur is my favorite out of the kanto starters so i was pissed also at some point in the game mable reveals she's a team flare grunt yeah no shit sherlock you literally have the logo on your laptop and chair i think we all knew the second we saw your office as for other things to say well some things just don't make sense ok so in the battle zone that opens every night you can sneak up on opponents and attack em for extra damage they can also surprise you but what doesn't make sense is that if you don't see me i'm sneaking but my pokemon is literally right in front of you you're literally looking at my fucking tyranitar they must have the vision of a fucking horse but at the end of the day it's a game not everything makes sense
8.5/10
TLDR: it's a review cry about it
