Welp, the people have spoken. Here's the source code for POPGOES Recoded! You can pop it open with GameMaker: Studio 2 and do whatever you want with it! You could optimize the game more! You could replace textures! You could add whole new mechanics! You could figure out whatever that "Drawing non-existing sprite" bug I found was and fix it! Maybe even allow the perspective shader to play nice with transparent textures! Or you can just go through and learn a thing or two about how to make a project like this. Lord knows AFF:OS won't be able to do that. No matter the case, feel free to snoop around! Don't really have a reason to hide anything.
Some things to keep in mind. Firstly, I'm not a professional programmer. Like, at all. Like I said in the description, there were definitely extra optimizations I could've made that I simply didn't, and there are probably methods of doing things that are pretty bad and whatnot. I'm sure someone like coyo_t is gonna take one look at this game's innards and cry. So don't expect this to be the perfect, be all end all way of programming POPGOES 2016. Also, a majority of the code isn't commented to explain what it does, as I initially didn't have any plans to release the source code. So, y'know, if you're having trouble figuring out what all the code means, too bad. Figure it out, knucklehead. That's what I had to do with the original POPGOES' mfa, I'm just carrying on the legacy. Suck it up.
Oh yeah, also, if you're gonna make edits to this then release it as its own thing, could you like, please make sure to at least credit me? Like don't go crediting the whole thing to yourself, that'd be kinda rude. Other than that, though, I dunno, just do what you want I guess.
