Hey guys,
Time for this week's update and fanart showcase. Unfortunately not as much news this time, but we move regardless. Let's begin!

POPGOES Evergreen:
Mostly just minor modelling for Evergreen this week. Garrett and I are continuing with phones at the moment, reworking the full 50-phone lineup to ensure the list is full of high-quality ideas. We had a phone modelled in maybe 2020, based on a very old television, which we're going to be redesigning and splitting into two: One super old (50s) TV with a black and white screen, and then a more recent CRT TV (90s/00s) with a colour display. The latter should be pretty nostalgic to anyone in their 20s haha. The television was one of the first "oddbody" phones that we worked on. It looked cool, but now suffers from the same issues as plenty of the other old phones: it was chunky, has outdated materials, and was made by someone who isn't working with us anymore (so we don't have any control over it anymore). Making new phones doesn't take long. I'll show off the old TV phone later this week I think!
You might remember, in the very first devlog, that I'm working with Alexis on a brand new set of characters for Evergreen. At the time, I said that "one and a half" were modelled. Well now three are finished, out of five. I imagine four will be done by Halloween. I love how these characters look but they might be kinda divisive when we reveal them. Oh well! It's fun to work on new characters again anyway.
Tigera has also finished her original task for Evergreen, which included around 10 lore-focused drawings. She'll continue to help with stuff like blueprints and other documents. She's very fast!
POPGOES Arcade:
We've finalised the latest update and are sorting out finishing touches based on feedback from testers. We've found a couple of minor bugs but it's wrapping up now. We're confident that the update will be available before Halloween. If all goes well, then I'll also try to put it on sale for the occasion too, but I'm not sure how much control I have over that.
Other:
More merch stuff! Yesterday I was shown the very first prototype for Popgoes' Hex plushie, by Dawko of course. And, uh...
It's kind of horrendous. Lmao.
But this is to be expected. If you've followed along with how Dawko has described the process for the Hex plushies, they are aaalways bad on the first prototype. It takes maybe 3-5 iterations before the design is perfected. So I'm not worried at all. Hex is an example of a company that is clearly passionate about FNAF, and communication with them has been great so far. Dawko also showed me how one of the upcoming Toys used to look, compared to how it looks now. And the difference is night and day. It just takes time.
I will say, this prototype featured the corduroy fabric idea that I pitched. The colours are very wrong, but the material itself looks REALLY cool (since it resembles a 3D-printed body, but soft)! If we can nail the colours, then my goodness, it'll look amazing, and VERY unique. If it doesn't work, then it's not the end of the world. One day I'll show the prototype (and you can laugh at it with us), but for now you'll have to keep waiting for some official previews!
Lastly, I've continued to collect photos that fans have taken of their Funko Popgoes plushies (on Twitter, Discord, YouTube, and Game Jolt). Here's a collage of ALMOST TWO HUNDRED OF THEM!
Thanks again to everyone supporting us through buying merch, making fanart, playing/sharing POPGOES Arcade, or just keeping the hype alive online!
