I gave Chapter 4 a somewhat of a bad review back then because of its buggy launch, and rushed gameplay, etc, now I give Chapter 5 a bad review because of its gameplay.

Let's start with pros first.

Better lighting, better environment, some parts of the game were fun.

Cons...
A lot of the chase sequences are trial and error, the biggest example being Lily's chase scene, as i died around 7-8 times just to finish it, the game doesnt make clear where you have to go, what you have to do, or sometimes doesnt really tell you what is going on, the animations are still somewhat poor compared to chapter 2 and 3, yet almost the same level as in chapter 4, some of the jumpscares were also not that great, for example being Lily's, some parts of the gameplay were also felt a bit rushed, and quite a few bits of the game just felt boring, filler or generic. And not to mention that after I finished my playthrough, I had to help some of my friends who were taking a lot of time trying to figure out puzzles because was just not explaining better (or at all) on how to do them.

I feel like in some cases this chapter too has been a bit rushed too, considering that it took them a year a few months to develop the game, slightly longer than chapter's 4 development time of around a year, maybe.

Either way, I'm hoping that Chapter 6 will be the last Chapter of the game, honestly, should've ended at this Chapter, but I guess build up hype for (and god I hope) the last chapter, if Chapter 6 doesn't happen to be the last one then I'm not gonna bother with Poppy Playtime, because it'd be ridiculous for yet another chapter to be added.
