It's story time!

Ahem,

Long ago, two races ruled over earth

HUMANs, and MONSTERs.

All living in peace.

One day, war broke out between the two races,

Ending friendships and breaking hearts.

After a long battle, the humans were victorious.

They sealed the monsters under Mt. Ebott with a magic spell.

4 Years later...

A monster scientist was experimenting with magic,

and accidentally created a new type,

PORTALs

After showing the Prince this new magic, 

He was offered the job as the Royal Scientist

And he took it.

The Prince, Asriel Dreemurr,

Was the only Dreemurr to survive the Child whose name dare I say, 

Since there was no one to rule the Monsters, He took the job.

Now, during an experiment with portals,

The Royal Scientist miscalculated one equation,

And everything became unstable

Anyone using portals would become corrupted,

And spread it wherever they go.

Corrupting the entire underground,

RUINing it.

The Scientist told everyone to stop using portals,

And gave the last good batch to his son.

A few moments later, 

A strange black portal appeared,

And sucked the Scientist into the deep dark void.

Leaving everyone without hope.

The underground completely ruined,

The Prince declared,

“We will rebuild our home!”

“And any human that falls down, will be treated with kindness”

“And if they attack, attack back!”

A few months later, A New scientist wanted to take the job.

She was the top student at her school,

And the prince accepted.

During another experiment with portals,

She made the same mistake the old scientist made,

But instead of making portals unstable,

It made the ground unstable,

Causing an earthquake.

Now,

A Human by the name of

River

Was taking a hike up Mt. Ebott.

Unexpectedly, the ground broke beneath them.

They fell into the undergrounds Ruined Castle.

Confused and scared, they pinched themselves, 

Thinking it was a dream.

But this was no dream.

This,

Is where your adventure begins.
