Characters

I only really scrapped 4 characters when I was thinking of this remake, the ones that survived were Caramel, Pepper Flake, Dylan and 2 Unnamed Characters right now

However the other 4 were named Cinna the Cat, Plush Caramel, The Entity and Old Caramel

Cinna was due to the fact that I didn't need several cat characters

Plush Caramel was due to the fact that his mechanic was super annoying when I told my friends, he was supposed to go down a vent however you couldn't see or hear him

The Entity because of well the fact that I didn't want it too sci-fi like

and Old Caramel because I made this concept after playing the Candy's remake in like 2020 and he was just a copy of Old Candy

Mechanics

Caramel originally was going to have a mechanic that made him disable your cameras for a bit, I scrapped it for 2 reasons.

One, it's just annoying and would probably cause a character to kill you due to you needing the cameras

Two, it wouldn't make a lot of sense

Allie was gonna have a mechanic that needed you to hold the vent cover closed but I changed it to a vent door for obvious reasons, plus I don't wanna try to make that an actual mechanic

And Tangle's mechanic is scrapped, I don't wanna figure out how Scott made the Lolbit mechanic and I'm changing her to kind of a distraction-like character, similar to Balloon Boy just with the door commands, but not for long because that would be super broken

And heres an image of what the image for Tangle's typing mechanic was gonna be, you'd have to type "hehe" or "haha" btw

I wrote this idea a while ago, and I did write down that Tangle would have a low low low chance to be Slippy, a SlyP1e character, then I learned that he's friends with Puggos Pizzeria, which if you don't know the controversy, stole several plushtubers plushies, is transphobic and I think some pedophilia stuff as well, so I scrapped the Slippy easter egg.

I did plan to have a decent amount of gaming easter eggs in the office but I scrapped these for 2 reasons

One, I'd like to have my original stuff or references to fnaf fangames rather than lesser-known indie games

Two, they wouldn't make a lot of sense. As a giant lightbulb appearing in the office would be so damn weird and frankly I don't wanna cause a lot of confusion.

I might come back to a Between Stars poster but I dunno
