In the files for the mod, there's two spritesheets in folders labeled "fireyvan" (first image) and "fireyalt" (second image).
The name "fireyvan" implies that Firey was intended to enter the FreeSmart SuperVan rather than Needle, and "fireyalt" may have been the entrance animation for it (which looks super dope, by the way).
Judging by the way the sprites appear, Firey may have been intended to enter the SuperVan from the left side (Pibby's side) rather than the right side.
