Posting this as a foreshadowing into the multiplayer that is coming out very soon! It'll be available for downloading at the itch.io page. For now, here's a log of everything that's changed. (Click on article)

Splitscreen Improvements:

  • Added a fishbowl! When you enter, you become tiny and fight each other in the small space. Video later, screenshot below. (James on the left, Jeb on the right)

  • Fixed an issue where Jack could constantly kill with his psycho scream.

  • Remedied Jill and Jack being stuck in screaming anims.

  • Removed the attic lighting, due to rendering issues with the splitscreen. However, the spider and the webs are still there.

Now for the LAN Improvements:

  • You don't have to reboot the dedicated every time you want to rematch.

  • Fixed an issue where if you do rematch and if you're in the waiting room, someone presses ready and it readies everyone, causing character selection problems.

  • Instead of the fishbowl, I added a rocket that is in reference to something classic. The fishbowl didn't work because the animations just went haywire. (Screenshot below)

  • The LAN characters can now do their own powers and MEGA POWERS without hiccups or errors.

  • Cleaned up a few things, including errors in the animations that would cause lag and framiness.

  • Fixed a problem where James wouldn't be selectable in the waiting room.
