Potential for Potential - An Announcement

Hello all of you beautiful people,

I feel inclined to make an announcement regarding Slo-Mo Dodging Simulator.

The creation of this game was to showcase a potential game mechanic I had played in one of my favorite game jam games, Super Hot. Bringing this mechanic to a two-dimensional top-down shooter was something I always wanted to do, but still have not fully achieved. I see great potential in a refined game with these mechanics.

I own several Apple products at the moment, and have not updated my PC in many years, which is one of the reasons you do not have a refined version of Slo-Mo Dodging Simulator in your hands right now. Sorry!

It has been well over a year since this game was made available to you, and it is in desperate need of fixing, which is why I look forward to continuing my work on a project I started a few months ago.

The image attached is something I scribbled around a year ago, and the simple ideas portrayed are a start of something much bigger.

As all game developers know, a game requires planning. I hope to one day be able to showcase the full potential of this game mechanic I have presented to you and almost 1000 other people! That’s truly remarkable. For now, keep on snatching those coins and dodging those weird bugs and shrunken!

If you have not already “Followed” this game, please do so now! I will be creating a new page for a new game soon, and will notify my followers through this game’s Dev Logs.

Happy Holidays!

Jaimie D.

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

Made my first ever animation.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

blender animation experimentation, getting the hang of things fast. arms, rig, & gun models by me ofc
