Pre Alpha 0.0.3 released!


0.0.3 has been released and although the expectations of the update were not met, a lot has gotten done. Some of the things added include:

  • New trees

  • Flame effect for the flamethrower

  • Carrier

  • Corruption

  • Edits to the landscape

  • Clouds

The reason for the update being small is mainly because of work on the soundtrack. I believe that the soundtrack is just as important as the art style, so I recruited a very talent musician to work on the music. He is going to try and have at least a sample for next week’s update so you will get to hear how the game will sound!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!
