Let The Villain Save The World, titularly, is a 2D puzzle-platformer, where you control the villain, who... Saves the world. The game includes a lot of things, top-down puzzles, rune-based power-ups, a detailed story, blueprint-esque cutscenes, fun characters, etc.
You play as Eviler, an ordinary villain, who accidentally, miscalculates his plans of launching small magnet cubes into the city, rather than that, the cubes unite into a giant magnet cube, falling down to Earth. Take note that everyone is made up of magnets, so everyone would die before the cube even hits Earth. Eviler has eight hours to fix this mistake, while Gooder, the hero and the government try to chase him down.
Let The Villain Save The World is my greatest game in terms of visuals, story, creativity, etc., although it falls shortly of catching up with The People in gameplay. It still ranks 2nd in my best games list.
Let The Villain Save The World was made for Untitled Game Jam #104 with the theme "Ancient Runes".
I hope everyone who plays it enjoys it as much as I enjoyed developing it. Of course, the game has issues, which I'll fix futurely in the game's final update. However, if you find any other issues to be fixed, tell me!
Thank you very much for reading.
