Press mentions!

So, Chris Priestman wrote a piece about A Russian Valentine on Kill Screen Daily. The connection with Ellen Page’s coming out speech is interesting, I didn’t plan at all around that (I watched the speech after uploading the game), it’s one of those coincidences that nicely reinforce the point you’re trying to make.

There’s also a mention of the game on a Russian (Ukrainian? Another language using the cyrillic alphabet? I unfortunately don’t know) tumblr, but I can’t make head or tail of the google translation.

Lastly, Jupiter Hadley has been doing a let’s play of all the Cassette 50 comp games, A Russian Valentine is in part 4, you can find the other parts on the JupCraftGaming youtube channel.

Thanks a lot for writing/speaking about the game, I had no idea it would be interesting to so many people!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
