Few months ago i started writing the entire story of a possible spin-off that takes place in the Mr. Cat universe, but focusing on a very different setting. It’s not going to be about Mr. Cat once again, but it’ll be someone else you have never seen in the whole series until now.

Of course, it won’t be even in the same gameplay used in the rest of the entries, but it will be an interactive novel, not a japanese visual novel. There’s many differences from the other entries, but i won’t have to explain every single difference from these. A notable difference is that the story is going to be very long and it will be a prequel to the entire Mr. Cat series, but on the other side.

Sergeant Duck is the name for the protagonist we shall know very later in time, and he’ll have a terrifying backstory. Through time and space on Earth, he will meet with some new friends, and perhaps even some characters from the original Mr. Cat series, which will make you wonder that the spin-off doesn’t have to be strictly a unrelated story.

But that doesn’t mean that battles don’t exist. It will be on a different take, however. Battles are going to be told in the novel itself as choose-your-own-adventures choices, and in regards to that, Sergeant Duck shall choose his own path to victory, or loss.
