So this is it, I finished what I want to accomplish for project Princess Quest 3D. Now you might say that I didn't make:
A VR version
A Linux build
An iOS build
Other platforms (such as PlayStation, Xbox etc.)
I said that a VR version was something I had planned in an earlier devlog post, but I've changed my mind because it's too time consuming.
A Linux build, for some reason, was taking AGES to build and even after a day, it wasn't nearly done. It was planned tho but again, too time consuming.
Platforms such as iOS, PlayStation, Xbox etc. is a complicated task to release builds on, as they have extra security. I would have to release it on their stores, which I don't wanna do for 2 reasons:
PQ 3D is a FNAF fan game and not my original idea for a game, which makes me not wanna make too much a deal out of it. If I were to distribute a game to all kinds of platforms, it should be my own game.
I know it's not what everyone wanted, but on the other side, I have released the game on Windows 64-bit, 32-bit, on Mac AND on Android. It's the biggest range of platforms I have released a game on, which I'm proud of
To me, a finished game is what matters and I'm considering this game to be one of the best, most solid games that I've ever made. It's optimized, and has very few bugs.
I want to declare again that this is a FNAF fan game and because it's not an original idea by me, I don't wanna invest all my time into this project, but enough for the FNAF community to enjoy
Princess Quest 3D was only meant to be the first game, but when I saw all the youtube videos, comments, reactions and positive feedback, it motivated me so much, that I cared to create the rest of the Princess Quest minigames, including 2 endings, extras and online features, so thank you for that
