Hello there fellow earthlings! It is me, gentlemaniac! This is basically just a devlog with the intent of showing that I am not dead. Things have been going very slow in terms of development because this was the first week of school, and I needed to organize myself. I will also answer some of the questions that you, fellow follower, may have.

GeNTlelUNaTIc, WhY Iss ThiS ReMAKInG THinG TAkInG SOoO LONg?!1!!1!

I must admit that the specimen remaking progress is pretty boring, even for me. That is because of the cropping process. On the original specimens, I only had to crop one image and that was it. However when you are leading with animation, you need to crop dozens of frames, and this process of cropping is the equivalent of dragging your soul into a cheese grater. just take a look on how many frames I had to crop just to make the new Proto-Endo:

No person should be allowed to see as much green as I saw. Ever.

What is Demo V4 about, Mr. Gentlemaniac?

Contrary to what many may think, demo V4 WON’T progress the main game in terms of modding, it will still “end” at room 750. The main focus that I have for Demo V4 is improving the gameplay and the endless mode experience. New posters, new ambience sounds, new animations, new secret specimens… That kind of stuff.

Why are some specimen-related things not modded in demo V3?

Look, When Im making this mod, contrary to popular belief, I don’t hack the game and start changing the 1’s and 0’s to make a totally different game. I simply open the “DATA” folder and change what I can, that is why I chose that the title would be “A visual mod by Gentlemaniac” and not “A FNaF mod by Gentlemaniac”. Now, you also need to understand that there are some things that are NOT on the DATA folder, therefore, I can’t change them, don’t worry thought, I will soon release a devlog explaining the things I won’t mod and why for each of them.
