Hi guys!
I’ve decided that I’ll start doing some Progress Reports whenever I think I’ve made substantial progress. And I have!
Now, I was tempted to release another demo, but it would spoil the main plot of the game based on where it currently ends, and I want to keep the plot a secret until release.
So, to keep you all satisfied, I’ll just let you know what I’ve done in these reports.
So, here’s what I’ve done recently:
Bug fixing:
So I’ve spotted a few bugs and squashed them. One major bug was Frisk getting stuck against walls if you turn left when above a solid object. This is now fixed (remember that this update isn’t released yet, so for you guys it’s still not fixed!)
Changed the location of the first save point:
The first (and in the demo, only) save point (which was originally where you meet up with Asgore and everyone else at the end of mountain) has now been moved to your bedroom! I found that it was better to have it there so that when you load your game, you don’t have to go through Asgore’s dialogue again every time to get to the surface.
Dialogue changes:
I’ve made improvements to some of the dialogue to make them sound more like the characters that are saying them.
The entire beginning of the game is complete:
That’s right! The whole beginning is complete! What I mean by this is the whole setup of the plot is now done, and the main part of the game is now being developed! Isn’t that neat? Development is going quicker than I thought!
