Progress report #1

Hello everyone, this is a part of our weekly progress reports on how’s the game doing. During these reports, we are gonna talk about our plans, progress on things (ie. Sprites), and the story (maybe). Let’s start!


Designs and Story Development

  • We are currently brainstorming our ideas with what the design of Sans should look like.

    We want to make it look different from Dusttrust (Or “Canon Dusttrust”) but not too far from the original Underswap Sans design. We currently concepts but none have turned into sprites.

  • For the Story, it still has the same idea with few minor changes here and there. We haven’t started making dialogues yet so I can’t really share about the story side of things.

Engines

  • Our menu engine is basically finished. The Dialogue system, and the overworld system didn’t start progress.

  • However, for the engines, we are trying to replicate it as close as possible to Undertale. This means the attacks won’t be a abomination of every cringe Sans fight fangames.

    Music

  • We have made a menu theme but it is going to be scrapped anyways.

The End of the Report

  • That’s all we have to share for this week! There is more progress done every day, however, I want to keep it for a devlog that will hopefully happen at the end of this month.

I finally drew the fish lady it’s my first time drawing undyne and it turned out very well but how I suppose to draw asgore? Though anyways have a good time!
