Progress Report #2


Hello everyone! I know it’s been a while since the last report, the reason for being so late is… well… I forgot about it!
Don’t worry though, I didn’t forget about the project, we still worked so hard since last time!
So first of all, the writing. We completed the events of Chapter 1 until the trial start. We also started writing the final script of the prologue!
Speaking of the prologue, we started making a prototype! This prototype will be full of placeholders, and it’s not even in the engine the game will be made in (Unity) so don’t expect a lot, but it will still be cool! We will release the prototype after all characters are revealed.
Speaking of characters, we designed a few more! I can’t tell you a lot though, since we will reveal them one by one ;)
The map is being designed as well, hopefully it will be finished soon.
I’m also working on some UI designs and some art recruitement info images which will be released soon.
And lastly, we have a new logo, and a twitter account! https://twitter.com/EDRKAT As you can see from the new logo, the project is also now called “Eternal Danganronpa: Killing Across Time” instead of just “Danganronpa: Killing Across Time”

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
