Progress Report Development Diary # 3

What's up everyone, hope you guys are doing well.

Well, as you can see with the recent videos progress is going great. I got Draco coded and I got the 2 basic enemies coded and ready to go. I even got the death effect working too which is nice bonus.

So what's next on the list is backgrounds and tilesets for each level. I'm working on one of them right now. It's gonna be a little while longer since I'm learning how to paint backgrounds. But if anything, Background art might be a little bit easier because I can loosen up a little compared to character art.

Oh man, once I got those done and but then in, it's gonna be really awesome. It'll be coming together. All I gotta do next is code the level's exclusive enemies and bosses and also try to get the two power ups for Draco. Here's hoping the demo can still get that summer release as planned.

PS: When I was recording the videos I accidentally forgot to turn off the mic. Actually to be honest I didn't think it WAS recording the mic. My bad...XD

I FINALLY decided on the enemies for Monster Cavern

SnotFire, the one -eyed monster, has a bad cold and will sneeze fire.

RockSmash, a rock like monster, will try to smash you and is very durable

I'm thinking about changing name of the game to: Draco Dragon. It sounds more original to me and easier to identify. What do you guys think?

My thoughts on the Switch 2:

Well, I think it's a nice upgrade of the 1st Switch, and the games are pretty cool too, especially Mario Kart World.

Not happy about the game prices though. Probably gonna just get the console 1st.
