Sorry for going radio silent for a bit, I've been a little busy with, well, making World of Freaking Goo LOL
Progress is going GREAT though since you last heard from me, for starters,
CHAPTER 2 IS ALMOST DONE!!!!!
With how long it Took Chapter 1 to finish, Chapter 2 taking this long is a god send, with this chapter being finished, there's been quite a few balance changes, and some major updates to the maps, so once I finish Chapter 2, I'll also roll out an update to the demo so you guys can experience some of the balance and map changes!
oh yeah the tilesets have been slightly updated, nothing too major just some tweaks to some of the maps to make them look nicer is all.
Anyways, All that's standing between me and Chapter 2 being done is two bosses, and one map, so thats REALLY exciting to me! Chapter 3 & 4 will probably take more time than Chapter 2, Chapter 2 is one of the smaller chapters of the game, I'd say its only slightly shorter than Chapter 1, but its still nice to have Chapter 2 basically fully complete, It's nice having progress be this grand, Chapter 3 has me excited to finally enter the finalized team, I'm excited to try out so many different team compositions and making way more interesting pipe fights!
There is a few things I want to do but, i'll just be real don't feel like doing it right now cuz of how much work it'd take, those being;
Fix how the Sign Painter works, how it sells shit and prices, also fixing The World of Goo Terminal's shop too.
Re-organizing Weapons and equipment, it's currently a MASSIVE mess that hasn't been fun to work with.
Re-balancing random encounters, I feel they're currently too weak, and don't give enough Goop Dollars which just makes for a long and boring grind to get good gear, cuz i haven't been doing that and I really should be, because,
Re-balancing the pipes rewards and difficulty, if you do the grind, most fights are easy as shit, which isn't really that interesting when most players will do that, I wanna clean up the gameplay loop a little, but I'd rather wait till I finish Chapter 2 before doing basically any of this.
I might hold off on the Demo's update to add these before I work on Chapter 3, it'd make Chapter 3 and onwards even easier to make, I feel like this might be the last Demo Update unless something Major happens to the ENTIRE game, or just, there's a massive re-balance change made during Chapter 3-5. of course if any bugs are found there will be small patches but outside of that its smooth sailing from here hopefully! These progress updates will probably just, devolve into me sharing how far I am in the development progress, so I should probably share the stages of development, so that you know how far I am in the process!

Play-testing pt2, post game content! I'd rather make sure that the game is good before putting the player to the test by using its mechanics to the max, because if something's wrong with the base game, that could seep into the post game content, which could make that part harder to make
polishing and preparation for release, One more trailer to give a release date
Release! I might rejoin a certain sever to watch some playthroughs? who knows
