Progress Update #1


Hey, all!

Before I start, I’d like to thank you all for your support. Even a little bit lets me know that there’s interest in the project!

As for this post, it’s the first of many that I’ll try to do on a monthly basis to give an idea of the game’s state.

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s currently complete or in the works:

Oscar- 30%

Kyrak- 60%

AE Troop (rifle variant)- 90%

Enemy spawns- 50%

Level 1 part 1- 40-50%

2 Player Co-op -100%
(Designed to work with an X-Box 360 controller)

I still have plenty of animations to work on, and a bunch more coding in order to get the general basics down, but so far everything is working out fine. With any luck I should have some more content (perhaps even a playable demo) within the next month.

Next up

First signs of danger.

Yeah, we're doing this.

Suppose it was about time that some of these skills got a little extra kick.

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

Mini Progress Update: Currently mixing (almost) every element from previous builds and concepts into something that plays to their strengths.

Level itself is about 2/3 complete. I'll prioritize combat after that.

Before we do any new reveals, we should properly introduce our current set. Meet Oscar and Kyrak.

Me: Man, I really wanted to have something released for the 10th anniversary, but I have nothing ready for it!

Clickteam: *drops trailer for Five Laps at Freddy's*

Me: *Finally remember that I still have a janky ace up my sleeve*

New look, new direction.

Gonna give this project another proper go. Still gotta hash out a playable prototype, but enjoy a little teaser in the mean time.
