Hey, welcome to another weekly (More like monthly) update on the game.
So today i want to start by saying that Insane Springtrap has been finished off, he was the most rough model i've had to deal with so far. Why? Well... mangle is why.
Idk why this was or what caused it, but when i ported the fbx file over to Blender there were multiple vertices in the shape of mangle on almost every body part of Insane Springtrap.
Basically, if i didn't have the capable PC i do to this day, i would have to deal with something impossible. Thankfully, i fixed all the issues and transferred the cleaned up model to a different file to remove all the unused shaders causing lag.
Though, i decimated the model thinking that was a poly issue originally, which means i will likely need to replace the low poly suit parts with the original undecimated ones and reconfigure the UV again.
However with progress going as well as it is with me rarely working on the game, i only need to finish off Yellow Bear and then i can begin working on the map and finally get a demo out soon (since i have 0 testers internally), i just need to find some sprite artist, get some answers about fergusson's songs and then get working on everything.
Btw, yes we have some new Penumbra members. Yevrag who's the map modeler back in the Origins era is back, and some guy who hasn't shared their game jolt tag to me yet, but his insights and suggestions have been useful so i made him QA.
