Greetings people!
We are currently in the progress of mapping out the world of Heaven’s Point. At the moment we currently have a small portion of “the slums” area in place, but we intend to extend this area and add it into an updated demo for you guys to try out down the road.
As for the scope of Heaven’s Point; we realize that we have restrictions on how big we can go with such a small team. We are only three members (+1 musician) and building a non-linear game like this takes lots of time and effort.
We have lots of ideas, but we need to put limits on how far we want to go. Otherwise the game will never be finished.
We plan on making at least four explorable areas in the city, each with it’s own characteristics, enemies and difficulty.
To reach each part of the city you will need to call a taxi. When entering the taxi you will be presented with a world map where you can choose where to go, similar to the worldmap of our previous project “Super Untitled Game” (https://gamejolt.com/games/super-untitled-game/26646):

At the moment we don’t have a planned date on when the new demo version of Heaven’s Point will be out. But we are working as fast as we can (please bare in mind that each team member has a full-time job and that we are doing this on our spare time).
We are going to release a few more updates on the game’s progress in the upcoming days, so stay tuned!
