Greetings! This update allows goblins to hit back and spawns them on every update step(AKA every decision the player makes).
Take EXTREME caution in the dungeons, as it isn’t balanced yet and upon entering a room the little runts will actually shank you to death. I know world generation is kind of broken right now, my algorithm will hopefully improve.
However, another addition to enemies and combat is the implementation of limbs. Most humanoid creatures have two legs, two arms, a torso, and a head. You hit a random body part on each attack, though targeting specific ones will be implemented in the future.
Every limb has a health value equal to the creatures maximum health value divided by the amount of limbs it has plus its defense value. I find this algorithm to be pretty well balanced.
Please give me some feedback on this and thanks for playing!
