This is the 2-10-10-2 mallet locomotive. Just a bit bigger and stronger than UP’s Big Boys. While they were strong, they were too large to handle, and their boilers tended to blow up, leaving a lot of them to be scrapped. What’s your guys’ views of them?

Train opinion Thursday!!!111!11!!! Was looking at shays online and saw this, a 4 truck shay, what do you guys think, is it cursed or cool? (for me it looks cool, but cursed at the same time, i cant decide.)
