This is my first time doing game jams and I’m happy that I finished.
In short, this game is a turn based RPG game, you walk around in fog of war, listen when people around you, meet and talk with others, kill others or team with them, rob other people inventory, hear the notification that some people killed others, and only one can survive(or can we make it more?)
There are actually four endings for this game, but I haven’t test through if each ending is reachable…

There are lots of features I’d like to implement but didn’t because of time:

  1. more inventories. In this version, I only implement weapon and binocular, I intended to implement armory and flashlight and megaphone too.

  2. I intended to introduce day/night system, so in night you will see shorter range and flashlight will be useful here.

  3. guns should have bullets otherwise they are too OP, but I didn’t have time.. The only change I made for that is when you use grenade, it will be removed.

  4. I wanted to add more interaction like save others, ask for help(also wanted to introduce food/water system)

  5. I also want to add the true ending as you saved someone and he/she has the technology to get a boat, and you and your lover leave together. But because of time, I just make a short version of that ending.

  6. More dialogues. More logic when you communicate with others, when you team with them or betrayed them. Reasonable AI to move around, and dont move to deadzone, and move to player when you use a gun.

Something really horrible happened yesterday, my Unity suddenly does not work. It keeps crashing whenever I click on play button and when I build the game. I was so frustrated and thought all the work I’ve done will be a waste. After lots of trying, I copied the whole project assets into another project and fixed all the missing links(thanks unity) and it worked. It waste me around 3 hours for this. I really hope this wont happen, and I think I’ll find out a way to make it easier next time..

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
