Hello world! Alright, alright, we know it’s just another endless runner. But, pugs! And many pugs! Space pugs!

Pug Riders was originally meant to offer us a simple break from working on our larger game, Chronicles of Pow, but turned into the ~~oddity~~ masterpiece that it is. Who knew that designing costumes for pugs to wear in a weiner race could be so emotional and all consuming? The game is somewhat inspired by Cornelius the pug (Pow’s sidekick in Chronicles of Pow). Cornelius, we imagine, has taken a break from saving llamas from the relentless robot horde.. and in Geralt of Rivia style, is taking some well-deserved r&r by running a few races.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
