Hey there everyone! No, unfortunately this isn't a posting about when the update is coming out, but rather a tweak in design for one of the enemies in the game.
Last year, I released a new mini-boss called "Pumpkin Spice", which appeared in the Woodbury Forest. As with most things from last year and beyond, I've looked into reworking its design, and came up with what you see above.
With Halloween fast approaching, I figured this creature would be getting a more thematic redesign than what I had before, in the traditional Jack-O-Lantern-esque style.
As luck would have it, besides being seemingly more detailed than before, the filesize for the enemy's image is nearly half the size of the previous one. A welcome change, albeit unplanned.
I know this isn't much information, and I'd love to share with you all what I have in store for you in the next update. As we all know, the best bananas ripen with time. I ask for a little more time, so that I can continue ironing out any leftover bugs and glitches, and adding more content into what might be the biggest demo update since the demo switched into the "Aurum" version.
Hoping you're all well and healthy. See you soon!
(p.s. as a reminder, and as such from my previous DevLog, I would like to state yet again to not download the current demo available, as it is indeed very buggy and crashes in places it shouldn't. I assure you, these issues will not exist in the new version of the demo, which is currently in development. I would have posted a small bug patch for this game like I did when it entered the 1.9 version stages, but too much has been changed since then to be able to release a quick fix without breaking the playable version.)
