Q: Has development ceased? A: Not at all.


You might remember our little game Square Legacy, and some of you may have noticed that we have not posted any updates or news articles for a while; infact it’s almost as if it seems that we stopped developing the game! Well, this is not actually true, we are just moving the game onto a new engine which will still take some time. The new engine however will allow us to fully utilize our creativity and it will be used for a number of other games after Square Legacy. Someday, it will be posted as open source on github where other aspiring game devleopers can either use the engine, or study how it works.

The engine is coming along nicely and already has many specific improvements from the original. The game will also feature a new sound track once released and be built with multiplayer in mind from the begining of devleopment.

We want to thank everybody who’s played the game and given us hope to keep going. Prepare for a new dawn of awesomeness (lol a new beta)!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

The Authority decided to investigate the Basement and leads to recovering classified documents Fun fact: The building has 928 doors and not 1000 doors. #horror
