QNA

@Cooper_IGuess "How are you?"

Hey! I'm doing pretty great!

@TheEngin101 "do one night with a box 2 repacked will come next week on march 2023?"

Next week.

@IronNanny "Top 5 your favourite games"

  1. Spyro the Dragon

  2. Five Nights at Freddy's

  3. Outlast

  4. FlatOut 2

  5. Deep Rock Galactic

@orange_gaming "Do you suck people's dick"

I'm not obligated to answer that question...

@AlexanderBerezuev "What was your first fnaf fan game?"

I made so many unfinished projects throughout 2015-2016 that I cannot remember which one it specifically was, sadly most of my projects from that time are considered lost media.

Though, my first ever published game here on Game Jolt was Five Nights at Buby's (a different version from the one that was uploaded in my old games collection).

@brkinbrakbrkoi "will you make every box game repackaged?"

Maybe!

@GlitchyGlitched "Which game has changed your time in the community positively?"

From my games, it would be Arctic Nights, the positive reception it received and I also felt more comfortable cancelling P:F 2 since that game made me really absent in terms of games throughout 2021-2022, so I consider Arctic Nights as my savior.

As for games that weren't made by me, it's been Playtime with Percy as of recently.

@kenZ_ "do u like me"

ur awesome kenZ_

@Speedorsm "will we get a "delete your account" remake piz"

Next week.

"what was a fangame you made that you thought didn't turn out how you wanted it to be?"

That's a tough one, I'd say XOB since I had a different vision for it, but I'm not really sure. I had nearly 0 involvement with the final version, the first version of XOB was pretty different, I don't remember much but I remember you were supposed to play as Thomastis.

"What's your favourite character you've made?"

I'm super biased towards the REPTILAND characters, I like all of them, I and Milky have written personalities for each character, as we're so invested in the REPTILAND world, but if I had to choose, it'd be either Greg, Eddie, or one of the two unannounced characters.

"If you were to choose a fnaf fangame that was cancelled either recently or a while ago, either by you or some other developer, what would it be and why?"

Personally, I'd choose Project: Freddy 2. It had the most interesting concept out of the rest of my cancelled projects. I certainly wish I had more time to invest in Project: Freddy 2.

Also, I'm planning to revive Stop Bullying: Unreal Edition once I'm done with fangames and make it an original game.

Fan Game or Original?

@Astortainment "Who Is The Best Fnaf Character"

@Jasper2596 "favourite game of all time"

@DanJuan "What is the dog on your pfp doin'?"

Mething in Clickteam Fusion 2.5

@Shadow_Berry "How do you meet fnaf?"

I knew about FNaF before Markiplier played it. I was watching Yamimash in mid-2014 despite my lack of knowledge in English at the time and I saw a video which was about FNaF and it got me really interested in the series.

"What inspired you to make games?"

This was probably a month after FNaF 3 came out. I knew about fangames that were coming out at that time and I wanted to make one but I didn't know how until I found out FNaF was made in Fusion 2.5, so that got me really interested.

My main inspirations were the following: The Return to Freddy's, FAZBEAR'S RETURN, Six Horrors.

There were surely more but I cannot remember.

"What do you think about the current situation of the fnaf community"

It's pretty silly. The recent situation regarding FNaF Plus lost my faith in the FNaF community, it really sucks since Plus was one of the two Fanverse games I was looking forward to (Plus and Candy's 4).

@andsy8 "do you genuinely feel proud of your games sometimes"

I'm an asshole when it comes to this topic and I know it, if I didn't have good experience making a game (even if it's something IRL related), I despise it. Self-Hatred sometimes kicks in you know.

@josaic "what do you think about this man"

bubzygamer-ckmtpw6x.png

This man has committed crimes, stay away from him.

@22strezt "Where did the idea for ONE NIGHT WITH A BOX originate from?"

It was more so on a whim, I was in a call with Thomastis and he was messing around in Cinema 4D, I was somehow thinking about boxes and said "Hey, let's make a joke game about boxes!" and the rest is history.

"If you were to remake one of your old games -that came out prior to stuff such as DSMIS, Project:Freddy and ONWAB- which old game of yours would you remake and why?"

I would love to see a remake of Cumman (hood classic) or Five Nights at Buby's 2 (silly)

"What do you like about Reptiland?"

The characters or the overall concept that the game takes place in a reptile zoo.

"With the DSMIS Launcher out, I noticed that there was a 4th Star in DSMIS3: Episode 2. How do I get that?"

I think it's for beating Night 8, my goofy ass forgot to make the star achievable after beating it, I'm not sure if it was fixed in Rhadamus' build.

@SapphireFox07 "Are there other characters in Reptiland we don't know about yet? And who is your favorite?"

Yes, there are 3 in total. Like I said before it would be either Greg, Eddie, or one of the two unannounced characters.

@AlxKalionx "What is, by your opinion, your best game?"

Norbit: the game for sure! Okay jokes aside, I'm proud of Project: Freddy Remastered, yes there are a few things I don't like about it, but it's still pretty high quality (despite its graphics).

Though, REPTILAND might take the cake, who knows!

@kroshx "hiii how's it going? how's life goin?"

Heyyy, been a while! Life's going well for the most part!

"what was the most fun that you had during your years of game development?"

The most fun I had working on a game was Arctic Nights for sure, it may sound interesting but it's true.

"if you had anything interesting or helpful to say for someone starting out clickteam, what would it be?"

I recommend starting small, no big projects or anything, I've seen people first touching Fusion and making a game something like UCN, which is something I don't really recommend. Watch some tutorials, though, it's better if they teach you how the game engine itself works.

Most starters don't know about this, Fusion's conditions and its events are read from top to bottom every frame, so the order of them matters, that doesn't apply in some cases however, you have immediate events (the green events), such as Start of frame which fires even before the first frame.

I have a Fusion tutorial series planned in the near future, though I'm not sure when I'll get to it.

@PelonyBackAgain "When will you survive monky"

survive monky is no more.

@Solarguide "how is reptiland coming along"

It's doing pretty well, it's quite slow but we're making good progress! I recently got done with AI for 3 characters and the heating system, the game is still far from being done, but I'm glad the game is getting somewhere!

@Standard "Here's my question. Do you genuinely enjoy developing projects, or can it get exhausting at times?"

It's pretty fun for the most part, the part I enjoy the most is programming, 3D work is the most exhausting for me, I do ALL the 3D work for REPTILAND by myself and it gets me unmotivated a lot.

@3a_0306 "What was originally and the box games was gonna look like and are there scrapped and unseen content in the box games?"

There were a few scrapped/changed content which are all shown in the box wiki.

For example:

Early office render in Box 1

image.png

Early office render in Box 2

image.png

and Repackaged before Repackaged (which was being made with Thomastis in 2020)

That's all for this QNA, thanks for reading! <3
