Hello everyone! long time no see. I'm sure quite a lot of you have questions, such as where have I been? or why was the project cancelled?

For those who won't read the entire thing, short version of this post; A brand new version of Tales of Discordia will be releasing in early 2025!

Now then, for the questions and answers;

Q: Where have you been?

A: After losing a good portion of my motivation to work on a project little to no people interact with, I decided to start working on my own original game. Which I'm hoping to release in December this year.

Q: Why was the project originally cancelled?

A: Well this project of mine was never just these games, it was a Fanfiction, an entire verse I created with my own takes and stories from MLP. "The Ringmaster" is the name of the Fanfic and is where the game's stories take place; Since the Fanfic on itself had very little interaction and the game wasn't much different, it completely killed my drive to work on it, as at the time I was unemployed, so spending hours and hours in a project to not even have a community around it was just plain irresponsible. But now that I do have a job and a project that although doesn't have a community either, it can make me money; so in theory I should have time to return to this MLP project without feeling like I'm a loser.

Q: What can we expect from the next version of T.O.D?

A: I might've not been actively working on it, or updating people on it, but I have been trying out some different gameplay ideas, concepts and systems in the background. So expect a much MUCH more advanced version of the game, characters now have Passive skills, stacking abilities and a couple more features I rather not spoil :y

Q: Does that mean the original T.O.D and T.O.D2 won't be getting more updates?

A: Yes. I like to keep reminders of my past efforts intact for the sake of me being able to look back and admire how far I've come. That's why my first ever game "The Cult" is still available for download, its an absolute cringe fest, but is also where I started so it has a soft spot in my heart.

Q: It was clear that some characters were far better than others, was it bias or just oversights?

A: 100% Bias lol. While I won't make any characters bad on purpose, my favorite ponies will definitely get an edge over the others. In other words; Starlight, Cozy Glow and Rarity cards will always be good.

Edit A: Yes there will be F.O.E content and cards in the next version.
