QoL-focused Update (v1.1)

(SPOILERS BELOW!)


New Content:

  • 'How to Play?' has been implemented into the game, easily accessible from the main menu.

  • Added toggleable holiday decorations. (Only available during the last day of October and half of December.)

  • Brand new minigames after completing nights 1 and 2 have been added.

  • Three new death minigames have been added.

  • New (really rare) easter egg(s) regarding the game's lore have been added.

  • Added a new render for Shadow Kitty at the left side of the office.

  • More hidden assets for you to uncover.


Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Jane being in both vents after leaving.

  • Fixed a small oversight in the Extras menu with the character names, where two could appear at once.

  • Fixed the game not sending you to the 6 AM screen during the power outage.


Quality of Life Changes:

  • You can now skip both dream sequences by pressing Enter.

  • You can now press Space to toggle the fullscreen.

  • Messed around a little with the menu UI so that it isn't as cluttered as it was before.

  • The 'Mute Call' button has an improved graphic.

  • Reworked the door breaking mechanic, making it less annoying.

  • Rebooting the door and the audio now takes slightly more time.

  • Layton takes a bit longer to leave when he's at the door to balance out the power further, he also has a more clear sound cue for leaving.

  • Peter leaving his initial camera is now slightly less RNG.

  • Jamming The Marionette's A.I. takes one more percent of power.

  • Replaced the power outage music for Kitty.

  • Shadow Kitty kills you a bit faster in order to make him more of a threat.

  • Shadow Kitty's jumpscare has been slightly reanimated.

  • Reworked Shadow Kitty's left side mechanic so that you have to jam his A.I. instead of just having to open the panel. (His kill timer resets once you open the maintenance panel)

  • Changed the subtitles for The Marionette and Shadow Kitty in the Extras menu, they're more pleasant to the eye now.

  • Moved the jumpscares in the Extras menu above the static.

  • Fixed an error in the ending newspaper.

  • Nerfed the circus music so that it doesn't play as often.

  • Made a specific easter egg much more rare.

  • Slightly more polish.

  • Other minor changes.

Reposting this because I think I deleted it idk, anyway I've been working on this project again for like the past few weeks and I'm fairly certain I can pull out a demo this month and maybe the full game in January

The team worked their ass off and I think it shows, it's a gigantic glowup over the original beta and I'm super proud of everybody involved in this project! <33

Overtime was originally supposed to take place in a completely different location. It was also a nightmare of Ted's after being knocked unconscious by HER at the end of Night 5.

Ultimately it changed into what it is now, albeit very late into development.

Also I wanted to add achievements but those were scrapped lol

Me lowkenuinely crashing the fuck out after new freddy kills me for the gazillionth time in the fnaf 2 beta 2.0 max mode
