Idaho state officials suggested that law enforcement could use DNA testing to verify a person's chromosomal makeup to enforce a new Anti-Transgender bathroom law.
The statement was made by Idaho Solicitor General Michael Zarian during a federal court hearing, sparking widespread debate over the practicalities and civil liberties implications of enforcing the statute.
Six Transgender Idaho residents filed a lawsuit to block House Bill 752 before its implementation.
