I decided to change the game's screen pack mid-way through development. Due to this, the amount of characters (including the bonus stage character) that will be available when the game releases has been increased to 108 characters.

With this in mind, I'm also announcing the next two playable characters:

Squall Leonhart (Final Fantasy VIII)

Squall joins the fight as Final Fantasy's third representative. Squall is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII and is a supporting key character in the Kingdom Heart games. He's the wielder of the Gunblade weapon type introduced in Final Fantasy VIII

K' (The King of Fighters)

K' (pronounced K Dash), was the main protagonist of The King of Fighters series from 1999 to 2001, which was the NESTS Arc of the series' story. Being a human experiment for the terrorist organization, NESTS, he has Kyo Kusanagi's DNA infused with his DNA. This grants K' the ability to use the Kusanagi Flame. Unlike Kyo, K' can't control the flame, so the scientists at NESTS gave him a special glove to prevent his flame from going out of control. Despite being a biological weapon made by NESTS, K' goes rouge from the organization and is often seen helping the Ikari Warriors with taking down threats as big as NESTS.

After the game's release, there will be 5 content updates adding in new characters, stages, music, etc. Each pack will have up to about 24 characters each. I know its early, but it's something for you guys to look forward to when the game releases. Speaking of which, this game is planned to come out this Spring, or at least that's the goal.
