I've been doing college-related things and preparing for the next schoolyear as well as still making time for family and friends, tldr; development has reasonably slowed. However, that doesn't mean there hasn't been a substantial amount of progress lately with the completion of Act 1 and start of the next chapter. The first area of act 2 is complete as well as story changes being made to make things more cohesive and enjoyable. Along with these major changes a lot of bugs and balancing issues have been weeded out. In the attached screenshot you can also tell Oswald, the protagonist got a new design which adds a red scarf and pink trousers to his design. I'll keep up the work and look forward to people playing the game someday in the further future.

Another quick progress update: The second area of Act 2 is complete and I am moving on to a larger and more explorative third area that'll take a while. Overall, 50% of the base game seems to be complete.
