I just wanted to give a quick update of the recent patched package I put up.
The Controller Description should now be fixed in both title screen and pause menu. I have also changed the Invert Axis label to the correct “Y” text.
I am very sorry about the confusion… In my haste to upload, I did not change the text info.
I also wanted to let you know that I am listening to your feedback and have implemented a few suggestions in hopes to make the demo more appealing.
The player info has been moved from the bottom right to the bottom center… Good Call!
When taking damage, the health text will flash red. I know a few of you gave concern to core player events… damage taken being one of them.
The missile lock and gun track range has been increased from 750m to 900m. There were a few suggestions about the range, so for now, lets see if you like it… if not… we can always tweak later :) Hell, we could go shorter?
I also wanted to clarify that I do intend on implementing an “upgrade ship” scene between each level in which the player can assign “points” to different aspects of the ship to enhance it. I am still playing around with ideas and really do not want to over complicate the process… This will be finalized depending on how this initial feedback process goes. I’d rather fix found problems now, then jump ahead…
