Yep, as the title mentions, I’ve implemented rainbow beam power up. With this powerup, player’s beam will be replaced by rainbow beam which deals bigger damage and can destroy any shape with any color :D
I also have created invincibility powerup and other things such as score items
Now I only need to code how these powerups will be given to player
Ludum Dare 59 has started so I'm going to leave this game for now. While waiting, here are some shots from the game:

I've had idea for a new boss for weeks but couldn't implement the idea until recently. This boss is that new boss.
I still remember raising my Crobat 
from Zubat to Crobat so I could have unique pokemon to use FLY tech

Rainbow is mashup of Shmup and Puzzle game.
Shoot colored objects with matching beam to destroy them. Create combo by destroying objects in succession.
