Dynocation: Are a type of immortal eusocial amoeba. Humans tend to mistake them as mystical or magical, but they are biological beings. They exist in the same world as humans, although humans tend to think of dynos as "gods". Dynocation know of humans, but for a human to see a dynocation is a rare occurance.
Dyno Genetics
Mountain - Red Membrane
-These dynos came historically from high elevations.
Sulfur - Yellow Membrane
-These dynos came historically from volcanic surfaces
Pond - Green Membrane
-These dynos came historically from lakes and ponds.
Forest - Blue Membrane
-These dynos came historically from the land.
Ancient - Purple Membrane
-These dynos came historically from the ocean surface.
Ocean - White Membrane
-These dynos came historically from the ocean depths.
Ice - Black Membrane
-These dynos came historically from the earth's poles.
The historical meaning of the coloration, is that these dynos at some point were born from a dynocation that lived in these habitats. It has little effect on a dynos story, but it can explain why a dyno may be better suited for land or water. You'll find more ocean dynos in the ocean, and more forest dynos on the land, but not all forest dynos live on land, and not all ocean dynos live in the ocean.
Dynocation Anatomy
Membrane: The "skin" of a dyno. It's very delicate and contains within all of the organelle of a dyno. It's easily shredded, so dynos cannot spare any injury. A single poke into a dyno can kill them.
Nucleus: The "heart" and "soul" of a dyno. It's the nucleus of their cell. They store all genetic information and memory within their nucleus.
Pseudopods: The arms and legs of a dyno, and any other limb that isn't just the body. They are not the same as human arms or legs. Though in appearance they may seems similar. They are all part of the same structure. There is no joint or separation. The arms and legs are the body, but molded in such a way that makes movement easier.
The Death of Zeus and Fires of Eden
Baki's voice was like thousands as Yhwh's sillouhte against the flames made it's move. Cytoplasm fell to the ground in a disgusting cacophonie. A limp body from his maw, his pupil estranged. Even he, the lone mountain dyno, was distraught. The world was alight all around, it smelled like meals upon meals. More than any being could eat within decades upon decades.
"You were given one in a million oppurtunities, and you've lost it all!" The ice cold voice rang out. The flames could not exstinguish what was frozen to the core.
"I had given you everything! I asked, but for one thing in return!" Red tears fell from the pale membrane of Baki. They glistened like blood from rocks dashed upon the mortals that lay beneath their feet. The grand fields of fragrent flowers flowed like blackened pieces of scroll. The trees billowed and heaved with bursts of energy. "You let a demon lead you and look upon those with all to lose with nothing! Look at you now! Your creatures are like savages! They feel nothing, but your rage!" Her sharp teeth pierced at the air as she spoke. A beast herself in form, brought no delight as the mortal men rallied behind Yhwh in an eerie glow of heat and agony. Yhwh did not speak for he had nothing to say.
"For thou take the crown!", Baki's voice shrieked in-human and like a river empties after a storm, deafening. "My colony lays dead! I have not a thing to my name! That crown bares you everything in your dreams, so be it!" Blackened tail waving stark amongst the red of the burning haven. "Kings of men, always find themselves alone, like the gold they hoard, dragons in the body, and smiles blue like water...", the sound was quiet like the voice of the trees, as Baki took her step. A form writhed on the ground, beside him who had slain Zeus was the Greek prince Apollo. His pseudopods slipping against the wet ground. He could not right himself. "Oh, father, I've failed." He whispered. His wing-like pseudopods beaten down and there before Yhwh kneeled. Sharply inhaling the new king's mouth filled with flame. The small form of Baki distracting his thought. Poised against the young Apollo. She continued to weep. The flames ceased, and Yhwh gasped as if to speak, but he couldn't find the sound within. His voice had left him many hours ago. Rather another was growing, a metaphorical one, a burning voice. Yhwh turned, and took his mortals.
Red tail waving amongst the land now smoldered and blackened. Baki's pseudopods met Apollo's face, as she begged and pleaded. Never before had Apollo lost a battle, and this was no different. He hadn't have lost if it weren't for her own betrayal, and something she'd come to regret in her days upon days. Never will a forest grow as green, or a crop as beautiful as those days before. Cursed the day the little ice dyno had been born, she would never escape that cold their souls were born to. For everything green dies and to the wind goes their ashes. Black like the ice of the rocks beneath the earth.
