You're down at the bottom of the ocean. There is no light. An enternal darkness keeps you company. The feeling of sludgy gooey sand beneath your pseudopods. In the distance you hear electrical shrieks and a deep crackling that shakes the water. You are a ocean dyno.
OVERVIEW:
This is just a taste of what life is like for a ocean dyno during their oldest ways of living. They live very deep in the ocean where sunlight is non existent, and their only ways of communication is bioluminescence and radio waves.
Ocean dynos are known for their bioluminescece and it's a staple of the ocean dyno way of expressing emotion, while this way of communication is seen on most dynocation, it is most notable on the pale membranes of the dynos who are closest in genetic relation to the lifestyle that required it for survival.
AN INTERVIEW WITH AN OCEAN DYNO:
[An ocean/ice dyno named Baki | Leader Of Circus Colony]
--
[Interviewer]
"Can you tell us what it is like living at the bottom of the ocean?"
[Baki]
"Ah, pal, I spent most of my life in the ocean! It's a very cold and dark place. Simply perfect enviroment for any dyno."
[Interviewer]
"What lead you to leaving the depths of the ocean?"
[Baki]
"I was only a bepper at the time, and it was time to move on."
Known Ocean Dynos: Yhwh, Baki, Michael, Jopi
HISTORY:
The furthest history the dynos have dates back to before land was in existence. The earth was an endless ocean. Fish, octopi, and mollusks were the food source of choice during the earliest years on earth. During this phase Ancient Dynos and Pond Dynos had a vicious war that would determine the future of life on earth. The Ancient Dynos wanted more carbon dioxide, and the pond dynos wanted more oxygen output. Oxygen won out over carbon dioxide, and the pond dynos took over the surface of the water, forcing ancient dynos to go deeper. During this time most ocean dynos kept deep in the water and rarely came to the surface. The ancient dynos unable to find place at the bottom of the ocean, settled upon the middle waters until later moving onto land.
Once land had started forming on earth, the dynos left the waters and began carving out a place for themselves. The history of these colonies are long forgotton. More research will have to be done. We interviewed the king of the dynocation "Yhwh" for possible information on the past.
YHWH INTERVIEW:
[A ocean/mountain dyno named Yhwh | Leader of Heaven Colony]
--
[Interviewer]
"What do you know about the history of ocean dynos coming to land?"
[Yhwh]
"Ah, well, a long time ago, there were these colonies called "Paradise Colony", "Wither Colony", "Solar Colony", and "Chaos Colony", but the validity of this historical take is in question."
[Interview]
"Thank you, lord Yhwh. Have a good day!"
From what we've gathered, quite a few ocean dynos left the depths for the land, and fought bitterly over control of it. Pond dynos and ocean dynos had mixed a lot during this time. These early civilizations of dynos helped aid in the creation of flora and vegetation on land. Prometheus, a pond and ocean dyno, is known for his creation of the large reptilian "dinosaurs" during this time. Although most acredit the creation of plant life to the ever present pond dynos during this time.
MODERN DAY:
Today, you can find ocean dynos everywhere. They still exist in the bottom of the ocean, but also can be found on land. Under Yhwh's current leadership, the ocean dynos have encapsulated most of the western world. Though they are less common in the eastern hemisphere where ancient dynos and sulfur dynos have seemed to taken up their refuge.
VOCABULARY:
Hell:
The depths of the ocean is often called "hell" in the dyno language. This is due to how deep in the earth it is and how uninhabital it is to other life forms outside of the dynocation. It is also where dynos in trouble with the king go to escape punishment.
Land Dolphin:
Ocean dynos new to land often refer to humans as "Land Dolphins".
M:
Ocean dynos often refer to their mothers as "m" or "mother".
LANGUAGE:
Check out dyno translator here: Link
Most ocean dynos speak echotion. The language is extremely loud and staticky. It's meant to travel miles across the ocean floor. It is often accompanied by flashes of bioluminescence to express emotion.
Some land living ocean dynos may know human languages, although the older ocean dynos may have a heavy accent.
RELIGION:
Currently we know of two religions regarding ocean dynocation.
The Mother - Most notably found in Circus Colony, but can also be found within other ocean colonies is "The Mother" religious practice. In these dyno colonies, the "mother" or leader of the colony is obeyed without question with belief that the "mother" is the closest a dyno can get to interacting with the "original" dyno. They have a strong belief that when they die they'll return to their mother and live with her forever in the stars.
Their Practices:
Ritualistic Infanticide - The mother will ritualistically kill beanies or beppers within the colony who do not follow colony rules.
Challenge Of Leadership - A prince can challenge the mother for the position of "leader" in a ritualistic battle. If the prince wins, they get "ownership" of the colony, if the mother wins then the prince is exhiled or destroyed.
Speciesism - Dynos of this practice regard all other species as below them, and view other species as being 'punished' and 'lesser' forms of themselves.
Yahwism - Most notably found in Heaven Colony, and almost exclusively heaven colony. In this religious belief, Yhwh [leader of heaven colony] is the creator of the universe, and thus is to be highly respected. In the afterlife, these dynos expect to live forever by their father's side in pure bliss and heavenly light.
Their Practices:
Ritualistic Eating - The members of this practice ritualistically eat bread and drink wine every meal in honor of their leader.
Prayer - The dynos of this practice communicate all their thoughts and emotions through radio signal back to their leader. This ensures no secrets are held amongst the members.
Worship - This can be accomplished in various ways, but members of a colony will perform difficult and exhausting tasks for their leader in show of pure dedication.
