Starchild is an entity who wants to play out the story of undertale but non of the characters felt alive to them in their copy
so they decided to pull in people's souls to make em play the part of the characters

Stage director cares for nothing but for making Starchild happy doing anything to bring em joy
they set up the areas and fulfill the souls on what their new role is.
