I hate that people keep talking about how the new update is "lazy" on valves part. OK WELL FIRST THIS IS THE FIRST UPDATE IN LIKE 16 YEARS, SECOND THEY ADDED 2 NEW GAMEMODES AND 14 NEW MAPS. Sure the maps were community made but they had to work on the gamemodes at least to a certian point, SO SHUT UP. honestly this might possibly be a test update for valve to see how popular this game can be and now that they see that TF2 can pull over 200,000 players with a new update maybe they will make bigger updates that add new weapons and balance old ones. I am still holding out hope that valve can turn this game around for the better. With Overwatch 2 sucking horribly and Apex Legends being well, apex legends, TF2 is the only class based shooter that is worth playing. Valve should realize that this could make them more money if they update the game. Even a farewell update will be nice. Just something to fix the problems with the game such as competitive. edit: also there has to be developers working on this game. How else would there be bug fixes and any updates at all. Valve did not just abandon the game.
