So yknow those side missions in the story modes where you have to do Ops with certain characters? Well there’s one in the Wild West area where you have to beat it as Rose (A HEAVILY SUPPORT-ORRIENTED CHARACTER)
And it was easily the single worst experience I’ve ever had with a pvz game. And when it comes to video games in general, easily a top 5.
So for some reason, the switch port in particular has this funny little feature where during ops you’re only allowed to place 4 pots/bots compared to the usual 8 you’re allowed to place in… literally every single other version of the game. But what makes it funnier is that from what I’ve seen, the amount of zombies sent after you isn’t affected in any way. Not to mention how much weaker the BFN garden is compared to the GW one.
Does trying to beat a round of ops with no other players, half the amount of pots, no AI teammates like in GW2, a weaker garden, WHILE playing as a support character who has to reload every two fucking seconds sound fun to you?
I literally beat it with the garden remaining at a single 1%. I couldn’t help but feel absolutely nothing, I was just desensitized by that point.
The fact that someone in a Popcap Boardroom consciously suggested to halve the amount of pots/ bots you’re allowed to place in the switch port specifically is absolutely sickening.
I know there’s like, a snowballs chance in hell of them ever changing the whole 4-pots-only thing especially with Popcap Vancouver being disbanded but… they fixed the Switch 2 port being basically unplayable after like a month.
That’s all I’m saying-
