so in the dream I was on youtube and I saw a new video by JoeDoughBoi about a Sonic 2011 secret ending or something so I watched it

in the video he was playing as knuckles in green hill zone, he walked for a bit and then the sprites started going really weird

like he entered a "debug mode" of sorts and the sprites got messed up, and random sprites started appearing onscreen distorted and stretched out

shortly after knuckles got to a red ring portal, and some text appeared (probably from knuckles) stated he'd never seen it before and asked to go in, so he jumped inside the portal

A weird cutscene happened where Knuckles was now in You can't run, Tails got lowered down from a claw beside knuckles, and then a dialogue box appeared at the top of the screen in the style of spirits of hell/the nightmare beginning games, and knuckles said "yay my friend is here!!!" or something like that

a burnt figure that pretty heavily resembled eggman showed up behind knuckles and tails, so knuckles asked it if this was a "bad sonic game" or a hacked one or something i can't remember too well lol

the burnt eggman replied with a vague answer, then the video ended

I checked the description, apparently this ending was secretly added by someone on the "sonic.exe team" and they got fired after, there were also clips that had somehow been embedded into the video description featuring random kids screaming about how sonic.exe was gonna get them or something

yeah idk the dream was very weird I think I woke up after that
