I guess many have already played, watched, or just heard about the new horror game "Poppy playtime", which dropped in 2021 and became very popular on youtube and beyond. Many have loved it, but I didn`t. And here`s why.

The first reason why I despise Poppy playtime, is because it is without doubts, was made with purpose of causing a huge wave of Poppy Playtime-themed child content.

It may be so, because creator of Poppy Playtime, enchantedmob, is a child content creator himself.

So this bitch mostly makes horrible minecraft-styled cartoons for children, which are based on Fnaf, sometimes Bendy and OF COURSE POPPY PLAYTIME. ( For making Fnaf and Bendy cartoons for children, he became one of my personal enemies).

And of course when making his game, he wanted it to become at first popular among his fanbase of brainless shit-eating children, and those who are like them.

I`ve seen and heard some say " This is the scariest game ever!" "This game has very dark lore!!!"

These are all lies, or just words said by children. Poppy Playtime is NOT serious or scary. It is made for children.

At first, the main menu of the game is just cartoonish factory with a violin playing in the background. These don`t even fit with each other.

At second, characters in this game aren`t scary.

Huggy wuggy doesn`t look terryfying, he is just a big toy with button eyes and sharp teeth. Are sharp teeth supposed to be his scary feature?

Poppy is a Circus Baby ripoff, deal with it.

To show that Kissy Missy is a female, they just have repainted Huggy Wuggy in pink and added eyelashes.

You know, this stereotype about associating boys with blue colour, and girls with pink.

She was added just to sell merchandise to children, let`s skip her.

Mommy long legs looks ridiculous, not scary. Creators tried so hard to make her look scary, but couldn`t.

I guess he also was added to later sell merchandise, let`s skip him also.

BWAHAHAHAHAH

At third, everything this game tries to scare you with, are broken toys with a bit of blood in them, jumpscares which are not scary, and "creepy" ost, which sounds like it`s sucked from a finger.

At fourth, puzzles in this game are obviously for children, they are mostly connected to different colours, and... Hold on, protagonist`s main tool are rubber hands which change colours?

At fifth, there are canonically colourful Huggy Wuggies. And different colours is a theme mostly used for child content. You get it right?

At sixth, I can feel how stupid and childish the game is, even by listening to characters voicelines.

For example, Mommy long legs voiceline from the end of chapter 2:

"Now we`re gonna play one last game, it is called hide and seek"

Why wouldn`t she just say "Let`s play hide and seek". Why would she need to explain that the game is called so? Is protagonist stupid, or something. Most of the lines in the game make no sense, and I guess this again proves that Poppy Playtime is made for children.

Another reason why I hate this game, is because it highly struggles to be a Bendy and the ink machine ripoff.

At first, chapter system. I know, same chapter system is used in C.A.S.E. animatronics 2 and in Dark Deception, but it wasn`t used there for these games to be like Batim. But Poppy Playtime, obviously uses it to copy Batim.

Than, the whole chapter 1 in Poppy Playtime is a copy of chapter 1 in Batim, where protagonist arrives at the place where game`s events will happen, than solves some puzzles without any danger, and than main antagonist arrives in the end, and Protagonist escapes.

Chapter 2 of Poppy Playtime is a copy of chapter 3 in Batim.

It features a female villain, which sends protagonist on dangerous missions, promissing that she will let him escape.

Huggy Wuggy copies behaviour of Ink Demon in total.

Scene of Kissy Missy saving protagonist from Huggy Wuggy is a copy of the scene from chapter 4 in Batim, where Ink Demon saves Henry from Projectonist.

EVERYTHING IN POPPY PLAYTIME IS A COPY OF BENDY, except for Poppy, who as I said before, is a copy of Circus Baby.

Creators of Poppy Playtime try to make a game which will be popular like Batim, but they are doing a mistake.

Bendy was successful because of story and characters.

Poppy playtime is mainly popular because of child content about it.

Oh, and yes, they are making a movie. The game is not nearly finished, but they are making a movie, because it`s popular. Well, I can imagine, what kind of garbage will it be.

In summary- Poppy Playtime is a pathetic shit for children, which tries to copy Bendy, but fails.

And these are my thoughts about Poppy Playtime.
