Red Ones go Faster!

Due to player feedback (that’s right, ObsidianSkin, you’re getting called out!), the ants have returned with reinforcements! They’re stronger and faster than ever.

A selective breeding effort has produced soldier ants, capable of withstanding two, that’s right TWO, mouse clicks before going down. You can spot them with their greatly developed craniums which take more punishment than their more delicate counterparts.

The Queen has also got her hands on the ancient and arcane technology of the “pallete swap.” Suddenly there are red versions of her loyal subjects running around after the strawberry. Lucky for the kitchen’s defenders, these red ones may be faster, but they also seem more than a bit drunk. They take wild turns, and sometimes even run in circles. Looks like it may be back to the drawing board for the ant scientist squad.
