Hello, this year is coming to an end, a year that I have to say has been the most productive one of my entire career as an Android porter.
This year I have accomplished so many things that I could have never think about before. I made one of my porting dreams a reality, a game that I have dreamed of playing in my mobile phone ever since it first released, I'm talking about ELLIE'S. This port in my opinion is one of my most underrated works, I've put big efforts into it, and while I know it could have been done in a better way, I'm still happy with how this turned out.
I also made another dream come true, I was finally able to port my friend's FNaF fangame, I'm obviously talking about Cutre Casa. (If you haven't checked it out, please give it a look!!!). While it haven't released yet, I'm sure many of you will enjoy it when it does. Ace has put A LOT of efforts into this thing that first started as a joke, but which later turned into something much bigger than we expected (Shoutout to @Ace2077
, love you bro :D) (Ojalá poder seguir haciendo cosas juntos en el futuro bro🤝🫂🫂, un honor para mí poder haberte ayudado con el port <3).
And while I know many of my ports could have released in a much better state (yes, I'm looking at you The Return to Bloody Nights)(shoutout to @WildNick
for helping me with this one), I'm glad they have seen the light of the day.
This year I've also met many amazing people, developers and Android porters which I've found to be really nice people and who I think they deserve a shoutout in this post, too:
@RainbowHype
- A fantastic Android porter that I had the pleasure of know about this year :)
@heisen_bear
, @DaRadsla
- Two great friends, they make very cool stuff so be sure to check them out :D (un saludazo, chavales🫂)
@NDUGames
- A begginer Android porter in pocket code which has grown to be making some cool ports on his own.
@RedRabbitGames ![]()
, @Fredinator
- While I don't know them very well, what I know is that they make PEAK stuff, my GOATS.
Finally, I would like to end this post by thanking the person who inspired and encouraged me to do what I do today, thank you so much, @Chrowden
, if it wasn't for your old Dormitabis port that I played when I was 11, I wouldn't be writing this right now, so thank you for existing, seriously🙏🏻 (Also, huge thanks for helping me with some stuff this last year, I truly appreciate the help and it means the world to me).
I don't I have much more to say, only that thanks everyone who supported me during this long 3 years (and counting).
To many more experiences like this in the future.
With love,
JOTE <3.
