Now I know this will come as a disappointment for those of you not in the Discord server, but I feel this has been a long time coming seeing as the updates have taken longer and longer to come out each time. But this is the second last if not last update to the game, depending on if there are any major bugs found. It wasn't an easy decision, but the games been slowly killing my own motivation for it. I also feel like I've added all the major gameplay features I've felt this game needs, added all the characters I want in, and overall the game is in a state I'm personally happy to retire it at. Its been fun, but now I hand the power to all of y'all folks.

What does this mean? Digital Nightmare is becoming fully open source! Not sure when this will happen, I'll give 1.6.1 a few days to possibly come out, but if no bugs are found by then, I'll release the open source version on July 1st. If bugs are found and the version releases before that however, expect the release to come a few hours after 1.6.1!

This project has been a blast, and I appreciate y'all for standing by, especially those in the Discord server who supported me and the game directly with their motivation and ideas, really couldn't have made it this far without y'all!

So for now, this Digital Nightmare is over, she's awake now. Things only get crazier from here.....
