Hey guys!
We're back with an update from the Mirror World!
------------------------------
-Tileset/Stage Rundown-
[Area 2] Moonlight Mansion; very happy with this one, featuring animated tiles (took a lot of work since no one ripped tiles from KatAM)
(Screenshots 1 & 2)
[Area 3] Cabbage Cavern; no animated tiles but looks pretty good
(Screenshots 3 & 4)
[Area 9] Candy Constellation (no screenshots under re-construction)
-----------------
A strange cross with Cloudy Park and Red Canyon from KDL2 has been made to create a mash-up stage!
(Screenshots 5 & 6)
-----------------
And a total rehaul of Ripple Field Ruins from KDL3 has been created (very happy with how it turned out considering I had to rip these tiles too ) (barring the 3-palette rules of the NES)
(Screenshot 7)
-----------------
So, progress has been going semi-smoothly, with most work coming from tileset creation (*sigh*). It's definitely time-consuming but the efforts are totally worth it .
I still have quite a few tilesets to go yet. Level porting has been going well too.
-----------------
I also wanted to give some insight on how the stages are laid out. Each area has (except Area 6 ?) 4 main stages and 1 boss stage; with one stage being the "set piece stage" (A stage that I believe to be memorable)
For Area 1 its Kirby Super Star's Floria
For Area 2 its Kirby's Dreamland 3's Ripple Field Ruins
etc.
-----------------
Welp.
That's it for this update.
See ya in the next one!
