Rejected Ideas Cup: Motel 4


Introducing Logan Kart 8 Deluxe’s first new track: Motel 4. “Motel 4” was last seen in Logan Kart’s level select screen in version 0.4. Dated January 2015, this version was never released to the public.

The track itself had never actually been created, and was replaced by Offshore Platform in later release versions. But today, this unused stage is getting its chance in the limelight. Taking place in a big neon hotel set against a gloomy starscape, Motel 4 now has a home as stage two of the Rejected Ideas Cup.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).
